The student receives an email from the Incoming Erasmus administrator at the Erasmus online application link; This link is sent to the e-mail address that the home university makes available to the student upon appointment. Once the student has completed their application and the Incoming Erasmus administrator has processed the application, a second email will be sent to the student, containing their UL student id number and other Erasmus information about accommodation, modules and other Erasmus matters. Please note that this can sometimes take a few weeks due to the high number of applications we receive. Approximately two weeks before the start of the semester, a package of information is displayed at the student`s original address with an Erasmus registration booklet. To nominate Erasmus students, the home university must complete our detailed student request form and send it to the Incoming Erasmus administrator under incoming.erasmus@ul.ie within the following timeframe: Unite Group has entered into a 30-year appointment agreement with the University of Leeds covering the development of White Rose View. The agreement includes 559 of the 976 beds to be delivered that will be commissioned in time for the 2020-21 academic year. Appointment agreements are concluded between the university and the accommodation institution, the agreement being to designate a minimum number of students for accommodation each year and for an agreed period, in order to obtain some control over rents and certain business affairs. Harper Macleod also worked for the Derwent Housing Association on a £180 million student housing project for the University of Hertfordshire. Richard Smith, Executive Director of Unite Students, commented on the announcement as before: “The University of Leeds is a very valued partner of Unite with our relationship of over 15 years. This recent partnership agreement supports our focus on the quality and security of our income by moving us to medium and high-priced universities, where there is a high demand for affordable and quality housing for students. We continue to target one or two new university partnerships per year.
Student residence projects can be purchased commercially or can be obtained by the university itself. The new project is located in Leeds city centre, near the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University. The agreement expands the existing relationship between Unite and the University of Leeds and helps meet the accommodation needs of its students. 52% of our rooms are under appointment agreements with 60 university partners who support short-, medium- and long-term accommodation needs. These NOMs agreements book rooms for your students for a guaranteed rent, so you can plan your accommodation needs at fixed and competitive prices with a provider you can rely on. As partners, we can also offer financial and real estate advice, partnership approaches for asset development or refinancing, integrated hosting management or any tailor-made combination. The yield at Direct Lets (excluding university agreement) is estimated at around 5% in London and slightly higher in major cities outside the capital, including Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham. . . .
